SOLIDARITY WITH IRANIAN
PEOPLE'S PROTEST IN BRISTOL
Just after the electionresults
were revealed and the violence began, Iranians living in and around Bristol decided to gather for a series of peaceful demonstrations outside Bristol City Council in order to show their support and solidarity with Iranians in their struggle for democracy and justice. We have had three gatherings since Thursday June 18th, one of which was organised to honour the memory of Neda and all those who perished in pursuit of freedom.
The media has been very interested in covering these events especially BBC RADIO BRISTOL, Evening Post and ITV NEWS.
